This policy explains what data AimBetween.Games collects, why we collect it, and how we use it.
Account information: When you sign in, we receive your email address via Supabase Auth. This is stored securely for authentication.
Game data: We store your game scores (mode, hits, misses, accuracy, reaction time) in our database to power leaderboards and analytics.
Profile data: Display names and bios you voluntarily set are stored and shown publicly on leaderboards and profiles.
Social data: Follow relationships between users are stored to enable the friends and social features.
Payment data: If you purchase a premium subscription, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card details — only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
Usage data: We may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and debugging purposes. These are not sold or shared.
Analytics data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymised usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and general location. This helps us understand how the site is used and improve the experience.
Push notifications: If you opt in, we may send browser push notifications via a service worker. You can revoke this permission at any time in your browser settings.
Local storage: Settings such as crosshair colour, round duration, and sound preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage and never sent to our servers.

We use cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and save your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies ourselves. AimBetween.Games is operated from the United Kingdom. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA, including the United States, where our service providers (Supabase, Stripe, Google) operate. Where such transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, and the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) where applicable. We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the third-party providers listed above, and only as necessary to provide the service.
Your display name, bio, and game scores are publicly visible to other users on leaderboards and profiles.
Account and score data is retained as long as your account is active. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. EEA and UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, please contact us.
AimBetween.Games is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
